How Clean Is That Ball Pit
Nothing like the ball pit for kids. Wooh! Yeah, just dive on in there among all these other plastic balls and have a good time. The only thing is though, how are those things actually cleaned?
Well, a former employee said: Dont ever let your kids play in ball pits. Theyre rarely cleaned. When we did clean them, we put them in my boss pickup truck in netted bags. Then we just went through a carwash.
Ummgross.

So, despite our small efforts and the my friends lack of procreation, our son doesnt really have any friends his age. However, we have a very large and warm group of friends who would like to help him celebrate his birthday on March 8th. Last year, since it was his first, we all played the party games for him. Pin the tail on the donkey, clothespins in the bucket, etc. This year, I decided not to subject our loved ones to that torture and try to find another fun idea to incorporate everyones ages ranges. Id really like to go sledding but can not count on that due to lack of control over the weather . I also got an ad from Chucky Cheese and thought my kid might like the ball tent. Has anyone recently been to a Chucky Cheese? Is it appropriate for a two year old? What other amazing ideas do you guys have? Thanks in advance for your help!

We get it, you are in a ridiculous mouse costume, you are bored, and you are surrounded by hot moms all day long. Sure it must sound like fun to get a little action, but groping a mom while dressed as Mr. Cheese is just not a good idea. But in 2009, that is exactly what happened when Mr. Chuck E. My family loves this photo booth at Chuck E Cheeses because it makes the cutest souvenir for each visit. You simply scan your All You Can Play card at the booth and smile so the machine can take your photo and turn you into a real life drawing!
How cute is this photo drawing? It was surprisingly easy to get my 2 year old to look into the camera. I think he knew the machine is going to make something special for him.

Hey, we get it, you want to go into Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurant with the family and have a good time, and you can’t find a parking spot man that is frustrating. The fun is going on without you! Still, though, shooting someone over it is probably not a good idea. Robert Herrera did not get that message though, as he gunned down a 29-year-old man in an argument over a parking spot. Mr. Cheese would not approve.

Is 11 Too Old For A Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party
My youngest sons birthday was last month. He turned 11 and celebrated with a Chuck E Cheese birthday party.
But Im getting ahead of myself. Two months before his birthday, I visited CEC Headquarters and was surprised by some of the new things they are doing including incredibly yummy pizza. During the tour, I kept thinking to myself how much my boys would love it.
Now, you might be thinking, Wait!Isnt your son too old for a Chuck E Cheese party?
Truth be told, when I asked my then 10-year-old son if we could celebrate his birthday with a few friends at Chuck E. Cheeses, I was met with some resistance. In his head, Chuck E. Cheeses meant a long table with everyone wearing party hats and Chuck E. dancing and singing. I assured him that no one has to wear hats, and we would request that Chuck E. not sing and dance for his party. And then I said two magical words that finally convinced himunlimited tokens.
We invited his friends, and I invited the parents to stay and have dinner.
That is where I was met with more resistancewe were going to willingly eat Chuck E. Cheese pizza?
Oh yes, my friends. You will thank me later.

The Games And Shows Provide Easy Entertainment
The buttons on the games are fun for toddlers to push and my toddler also just likes to get on and off the rides. She has no idea yet that they move or do anything… so we’re trying to keep her in the dark about that for now!
I think she climbed on and off this rocket ship 15- 20 times.
The Chuck E. Cheese’s characters dance and sing too and my toddler could’ve stood there watching them forever. Eventually we did have to go home though!
I will definitely be heading back to Chuck E. Cheese’s for a mom break again soon. I highly recommend it!

Man Picks Up Wrong Kid
We get it, you’ve had a long day, and let’s face it, you totally checked out on your kid’s birthday party. Which is why some dad probably picked up the wrong kid and tried to walk away with him. The guy just took a few steps with the kid, and it was obvious to the police it was an honest mistake, but I am sure the guy had a hard time explaining it to his wife. But at least he probably won’t have to go to any more lame parties.

So DH and I were discussing lunch plans for DSs second birthday And he suggested Chuck E. Cheese. I looked at their website and they have a toddler zone. And it would be just DH, DS, and I, have some pizza and let him play a bit.. I havent been to a Chuck E. Cheese since I was very young.. So Idk if its age appropriate for a 2 year old or not?! My sister always had her kids parties at Chuckys Disease. There is nothing wrong with having a 2yr olds birthday there. Have fun and do what is in your budget that your child and his friends will enjoy After all, that is what a party is all about.
I think two is a little too young, but ours doesnt have that toddler zone youre talking about. Or at least they didnt. Im worried about taking DS and him getting trampled by the rambunctious older kids.

Reading War And Peace At Chuck E Cheese
My husband took the older two boys to Texas this weekend for a Texas A& M football game. This is a near-annual pilgrimage for them, and they got to see several other Aggie relatives while there.
This meant I was here with the three younger kids. It was not the most relaxing weekend ever. The toddler was up before 6 a.m. both mornings, as he had been the previous two mornings during the week when my husband was traveling, and I was feeling a bitdoneon the early morning toddler entertainment front. He is enamored with the Jimmy Fallon board books and wants them read over and over again. I also spent a lot of my toddler-free time cleaning up the house in advance of the listing photos.
Howeverthere has been progress there. Several rooms are less than 5 minutes away from being photographable . This includes the bar kitchen in the basement which has been covered for years by the remnants of those horrible little find the dinosaur fossil type kits where you pound at plaster and make dust.
There were also a few nice moments. I took the three kids for a short hike on Saturday morning before various sports, and it was lovely to see the early fall color. I ordered in sushi for myself Saturday night, and enjoyed that. Sunday, I had a few hours of coverage for the toddler, so I could do some birthday stuff for the soon-to-be-10-year-old . We ate at Olive Garden her request and then went to Chuck E. Cheeses.
