These are both tried and true and a little bit quirky ways for your kids to get more tickets when they visit Chuck E Cheese! We have been visiting Chuck E Cheese for over 30 years and brought together some of our best secrets for getting more fun and prizes on each visit.

This post was written in partnership with Chuck E Cheese, as a part of the Chuck E Champions ambassador program. My family has been frequenting Chuck E Cheese for more than 30 years and I am super excited to pass on some of our best secrets to you today! Disclaimer: Deals and incentives can vary in different markets and change at any time. Check with your local store or the Chuck E Cheese website to verify promotions in your area.

The tickets at Chuck E Cheese are almost as iconic as the establishment itself. Most parents have memories of trying to get just 22 more tickets so that you could cash it all in for the prize of your dream. It is no different today as our kids are now learning the fundamentals of spending tokens, earning tickets and counting them out to get the prize they have been eyeing since the moment they walked in.

  • Ticket Blaster Experience Regardless of the level of the party, each birthday kid gets to go in the ticket blaster and catch as many as they can. Aim for the big monopoly money sized papers which are certificates for 10-50 extra tickets and there are also super papers worth 500 tickets!

Are You An All You Can Player

Part of our mission as Fun Capital of the Universe is to ensure we are always evolving our gaming packages, so guests get the most value out of their visits to Chuck E. Cheeses. As the first step to this, we went back to the basics to incorporate more of what kids really want. We talked to lots of kids and parents, and what we heard over and over again is that they want lots of games, tickets and a fun experience for the whole family.

With that in mind, this summer we launched a whole new way to play, called All You Can Play. This is the all-inclusive way to play, where you buy an amount of time instead of Play Points. Our logic behind this? Buying time instead of points allows kids to maximize the amount of games and tickets they can win during a visit.

All You Can Play games means as a parent, you never have to top off your kids Play Pass cards when they race through all of their Play Points quickly. Unlimited games also mean that your kids get to play 50% more games* and even try out new games they have never played before. More games + more tickets = more prizes! That is the kind of math problem we like to do.

With that said, kids do have different styles of playing and sometimes that varies on age. Take our quiz to find out what kind of gamer they are!

*Starting at $9 in most locations. See your location for pricing and details. All You Can Play is time-based. Time expires at the end of the day of purchase. At participating locations only.

Before I get into my rant, let me say the latrines were clean, the food was good, hot and fast. The staff were polite, and knowledgeable. That being said the now Play Pass is a bit of a scam. They removed the coins and replaced them with points, so before you got 100 coins, now you get 300 points. Sounds greats, but it ain’t. Most rides are 15, 20, or 25 points, whereas previously they were 1 or 2 coins. Not very fair eh?Next most games pay 1 ticket, with the odd one paying three, and fewer that pay 5 or more, not like before. You won’t see kids buried in tickets, perhaps it’s a good thing? I dunno.Lastly the cost of tickets to buy the treats/prizes at the end are still the same. Usually my kids average between 150-200 tickets, this time we were 75 with very few options. I considered speaking with the manager, but realized how futile the effort would be.Would I return? Most likely, however I’d brace my kids for less exciting prizes.

Attended a birthday party. Kids had fun. Lots of games for kids to play. Only thing that was bad is we had to take the ticket redemptions with us as the machines we too crowded with lines as half of them did not work

Very consistent with other locations machines well maintained , staff are nice, and fairly clean facility. Food is on par with other locations as well.

How To Make A Chuck E Cheese Reservation Online

One of the best things about planning our party was being able to book it online. I hate making phone calls, and we were doing it at one of the Chuck E Cheese locations thats not nearby, so going in wasnt an option. The new system lets you select your package, how many people, your additional food or add-ons, and an available time/date all online.

Its seriously so simple just go to ChuckECheese.com to book up to 90 days in advance but seriously who knows when theyre having their party that far in advance?

You can make changes to lower the number in your reservation up to 24 hors before your party so book the max number you invited then give them the final number a day or two before.

If youd rather have the party space all to yourself, choose the VIP option when youre booking your party, and you can get in before the restaurants normal open hours! Thats HUGE right now with social distancing being so important.

    How Can I Save Money

Consider buying discounted Chuck E. Cheese gift cards on Raise.com. Here, depending on the gift cards being sold, could save you more than 5 percent.

You can also find coupons and even tokens at a hefty discount on eBay. If you dont mind waiting a few days, this could be a great way to save as well.

Chuck E Cheeses Phases Out Tokens

    Ron Ruggless | Dec 01, 2016

Chuck E. Cheese’s has phased out its iconic game tokens for tap-to-play cards, with the new Play Pass technology now in about 200 of its 746 restaurants, the company said this week.

Irving, Texas-based CEC Entertainment Inc., parent to the Chuck E. Cheeses and Peter Piper Pizza chains, said it will roll out the Radio Frequency Identification, or RFID, technology in its remaining U.S. company-owned Chuck E. Cheeses units through 2017. By the end of 2017, Play Pass will be in 511 stores, the company said, excluding its franchised, Canadian and Peter Piper locations.

We’ve been talking to parents and kids, and they’re embracing the new Play Pass system,” said Tom Leverton, CEO at CEC Entertainment, in a statement.

Operationally, the RFID technology has given the company new tools to provide a better customer experience, he said.

“We’re able to easily monitor which games aren’t being played as much and switch them out for new or more popular games, Leverton said. This is a whole new level of customer service that we’re really excited about.

Leverton, in a , also said the new RFID technology is more hygienic than the tokens, which get pass through many young hands during the course of the day. What were hearing from moms: Its clean, he said.

In addition, the cards allow CEC to provide a loyalty program with rewards.

Chuck E. Cheeses games still give out tickets that are redeemed for prizes.
