  • Youre so welcome! Microplaned fingers are not fun Yes I take off the rind but you could easily do a test each way and see what you prefer. The grind wont blend as easily as the cheese but Im pretty sure either blender can handle it. Happy Blending! ~Tarashaun

  • I have grated Parmesan many times in my blendtec. But tonight when I was grating some, it blew the side out of my blender. A roundish piece of plastic about three inches in diameter broke out. Cheese had to be cleaned from one end of my kitchen to the other! I have no idea what happened. I dont know if I can get the jar replaced under warranty or not. But now Im scared to grate Parmesan in it ever again.

  • Hi Danny and WELCOME to Blender Babes! Clean up is easy, just be sure to use 2 cups HOT water with your soap. I like to use the Soup button to clean super messy jobs as well, then run over it with a sponge if necessary but thats usually only needed for nut butters, batters, and oily dressings. Parmesan cheese shouldnt need much extra cleaning. HAPPY BLENDING!!
