Combine dressing ingredients in a large bowl and stir to combine. Taste and adjust if needed by adding more salt, pepper, etc.

You want to stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the dressing is smooth, except for the blue cheese crumbles.

Cut the iceberg head into quarters, lengthwise.

Place one wedge on a plate and spoon 2-4 Tablespoons of dressing on top of each.

Blue Cheese Dressing is easy to find at your local grocery store or online. So, you might be wondering why you should spend the time making this at home.

One of the main reasons I decided to make my own blue cheese dressing is I started to look at the ingredient labels on the backs of dressing bottles.

In some ways, the ingredients made sense. I mean, theres a lot of additives and preservatives so the bottle can sit on the shelf both at the store and in our home for months.

Companies who mass produce kefir use a different process than we do when making it at home. The reason behind this is because they want a more shelf-stable product. The consequence is an end product with a higher carb count.

I encourage you to make your own kefir at home to truly enjoy a low carb kefir. The tangier it is, the lower the carb count.

During the fermentation process, the kefir grains digest the lactose in milk.

We ferment ours for 3 days which results in a tangy and low-carb kefir beverage!
