I assured him that no one has to wear hats, and we would request that Chuck E. not sing and dance for his party. And then I said two magical words that finally convinced himunlimited tokens.
We invited his friends, and I invited the parents to stay and have dinner.

HUMBLE, Texas A 24-year-old man was heading into a Chuck E. Cheese in Humble to celebrate his daughters sixth birthday when he was shot in the parking lot and later died.
The victims wife identified him as Calogero Duenes.
Amber Uresti said she and her 6- and 3-year-old daughters had gone inside the restaurant before her husband, who was tasked with getting the cake.
I saw him, Uresti said. I saw him walking towards us. I told the lady my husband was on his way. I pointed at him, and the instant I turned around, he came running in through the door and he kept saying, I got shot! I got shot!
Humble police obtained surveillance video they said showed Duenes encounter with the shooter. Police said the suspect drove the wrong way down a row of parking spaces and almost hit the victim. The video then shows the two exchange words. Moments later, a witness told police they heard three gunshots.
He picked up his shirt and ran outside, Uresti said. I ran out after him. My 6-year-old saw him fall on the ground.
Duenes was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.
He had no weapons, Uresti said. He was holding my daughters birthday cake. He had nothing on him. I dont understand why.
Uresti said she and Duenes were set to celebrate their 10th anniversary in September.
We grew up together, she said. Every day for the last 10 years, its been me and him. I really dont know what Im going to do anymore. Its really hard.

Honestly I had one for my DS a couple years ago and we all really enjoyed it. No clean up, no serving, the hostess did everything, it was great. As far as budget tips if you look at booking through their website sometimes it is cheaper on certain days of the week or at certain times so I would look into that. Also instead of paying for goody bags I would just buy some extra tokens and hand those out. And it’s cheapest if you just go with the Chuck E Cheese theme instead of trying to do a character, that way you don’t have to buy anything extra like plates or anything to fit a theme. I would be prepared for people who bring siblings or adults staying, be ready to order an additional pizza if your package doesn’t include it for the adults.

Make sure to put the bonus tickets in a safe place, we totally lost ours before it was time to turn them all in.
