To preface, I dont miss cheese. Ive never really even liked cheese . So my only reason for seeking out the best cheesy options is for all of you. That said, I fell hard for Follow Your Heart Cheese Alternative.

I only wish the blocks were easier to find , because they grated well. But the slices work well in recipes too. We tried the Cheddar in pan-fried corn quesadillas , atop nachos and in sandwiches. Now Im going to give you a little truth up front if youre expecting Philadelphia, this isnt it. I have yet to find a substitute, homemade or store bought, which tastes exactly like your standard dairy-based cream cheese.

Tofutti is probably the most widely available cream cheese, so its likely the non-dairy cream cheese served in most bagel spots that actually carry non-dairy options.
